Lonely Planet says “Queens is the best US Destination for 2015”

Posted on 12/10/2014 by New Yorker

With just a few days remaining before the deadline strikes for applying for an apartment at Hunter’s Point South in the borough of Queens in New York City, Lonely Planet has just named “Queens” as the best place to visit in the USA.

While those of us who reside in this incredible New York borough view it emphatically as the best place to live in America, it is flattering that it has now ascended to a new status for travellers in the eyes of the tourism experts.  Befittingly,  LonelyPlanet cites Queens’  unique mix of incredible size and unmatched diversity as a key factor in its assesment, and points to “the rise of microbreweries, boutique hotels, a reinvented seaside and a burgeoning art scene” as central to its appeal.

For those who have just applied for an apartment at the Hunter’s Point South development, which sits in Queens on the edge of the East River overlooking the New York City skyline, this announcement should serve as a bit of an endorsement of their initiative, while for those who are thinking about applying, it should be great encouragement.

It’s just another good reason to apply for an apartment at Hunter’s Point South in Long Isalnd City Queens.
