For starters, the entire structure boasts full-frontal panoramic views of Manhattan and the East River stretched across the floor to ceiling windows. Several angles reveal additional views of downtown Manhattan/Brooklyn and the Queensboro Bridge.

The lower floors are already nearing completion, revealing apartment layouts and bedrooms, while the higher floor rooms are still mostly cement and metal skeleton.  The fifth floor terrace and green space is in progress and includes public walkways and private spaces to be sectioned off for individual units.
Frank Monterisi, senior vice president with developer Related Companies further explained the design of the several outdoor spaces as the architecture of the building mimicking a chair, with one arm as a front terrace and another as a community garden where a residents’ garden club will be open to all. 
Construction for Hunter’s Point South Commons, the first and larger building is slated to be ready for move-ins in Spring 2015.
