According to Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer’s office and subsequent media reports the area is likely to be equipped with 10 docking stations, although some of these sites may be up for review while others added.

The New York Observer reported on Friday evening that according to Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer, in the first week of the Hunter’s Point South Affordable Housing Lottery, about 25000 persons have already applied. These figures are considerably higher than earlier estimates, indicating that the project’s marketing phase has gotten off to a flying start.
